What Charlie Munger taught Warren Buffet

I just read in the Globe and Mail that Charlie Munger, Warren Buffet's business partner, passed away just short of his 100th birthday. I will miss his words of wisdom but the good thing is that we can read lots of articles and books that have documented his genius.

The article in the newspaper did a wonderful job of explaining his brilliance in simple terms.

SIMPLE BUT NOT EASY.

So, why did I choose this title?

Well, as a long time follower of Warren Buffet and his philosophy, he states that, to be successful does not require one to have a high IQ but rather it requires two things. 1. A strong intellectual framework on which to base your decisions and 2. Not letting your emotions corrode the framework.

Life is simple but not easy. It requires a strong BELIEF in what you are doing, FOCUS and DISCIPLINE to stay on the path and PERSEVERANCE to see things through to the end. All of which are simple to understand but not always easy to implement.
